I can't believe the season finished that fast. How many episodes was it?

Nine episodes. Way too short. And they should extend the show to an hour.

stop hatin' on the show. it has its problems, but all shows start a little rough and awkward ... they need time the gain their stride. a second season of Noah is almost guaranteed to be deeper and better than the first.

just having the show on the air is a step in the right direction, and having it not come back for a second season is five steps the other way.

See what I'm saying?

i've been supporting this show since the summer of '04, long before LOGO came along, so I feel an almost paternal protectiveness, chris.

and you're absolutely right, the acting is a little rough around the edges ....

and its also a little campy with impossible situations taking place in thirty minutes. but its fun. bottom line. its a fun show, and curiously addictive. plus, if its not renewed for season two, that'll send a very bad message for black gay programming. if they do stand behind the show, then other networks will bite and more programs will air.

its the new renaissance goin' on right now. PatriK-Ian started it with PUNKS, I think, which is already a rare classic that has yet to air on LOGO. Then Rodney Evans' Brother to Brother came along, which we both agree is awesome. Then came Maurice Jamal's Ski Trip, which is also campy and the acting questionable ... but fun anyway.

and now Noah's Arc, the first black gay sitcom ever. it's a little rough, but underneath the impurities ... there's a beautiful, sparkling black diamond, just waiting for its chance to shine.

It started in the fan club. Question about when the next season was gonna air ('cause we didn't wanna wait too long), led to writing LOGO for confirmation, which led to mix messages.

One person said the show was a go, another that they were still considering. Then another member suggested the petition and ... here we are.

If the show is already safe ... then the petition can only boost its stock further.

you wont see the new season until 06 the petition is a waste of time... stop spreading false INFO!!!!

boogie baby ...

nobody's spreading false anything. i already explained how the petition got started.

this action is not about impatient fans trying to speed up the arrival of the new shows.

it's about the possibility of there not being any at all.

preach poetik ... it is all about the void. that aching void. well said.

And Noah's presence, silly as it can be, is crucial to kicking off those 'other' shows with more true to life realism.

and like you said, we do need to laugh at ourselves.

My, then, partner & I viewed the screening in August '04. The hype had more bite: we got punk'd. I've seen more substance from Enrique Cruz, still we need images of Black male homosexuals on tv.

The opportunity exists to explore complex issues: but, its not HBO, its LOGO, hello? Still, we need to support our brother like we wear Moschino, Prada & Versace, feel me?

It's only collegiate because you're absolutely correct. That's also why I don't mind Noah being over the top fem or an of the silly goings on.

It's almost like America has to see something as campy and harmless before they can accept it.
