The problem begins in regarding God as a willed entity in the first place. I don't believe God to be an entity that is capable of action or inaction, so many of these questions are nullified.
Fashioning God after our own image is probably the single most problematic facet of Judeo-Christian (and most monotheist) faiths. When you cease to regard God a "He" somewhere off in the heavens, plenty of this becomes hogwash.
Also up for debate is the question of whether [objective standards of] good and evil exist. Needless to say, I think not.
